It was heartening to see our former First Lady Michelle Obama join other former First Ladies jumping into the current frenzy over the treatment of refugee children brought here from Mexico and Central America and detained at the border, in the latest media furor designed to paint the Donald as the evil emperor, in preparation for the mid-term elections this fall.
This latest policy debate being fanned by a hysterical media – headed by the Obama news network CNN – in order to isolate and ridicule the Donald and the Republicans, was a policy that was underway and utilized by Barack and Michelle when they were in the White House but with one big difference.
Under current immigration law, there since Obama, refugees who crossed the border unlawfully were referred for prosecution, a process that moves adults to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service and sends many children to facilities run by the Department of Health and Human Services. Under Barack and Michelle, these families were referred quickly for civil deportation hearings set at a later date, released, and not separated.
The problem was, as CNN dutifully doesn’t report, many of the people disappeared into sanctuary cities, under the radar, hopefully to reappear later on Democratic voting rolls. Many of them also had been urged north into the United States under Obama with the promise they would be welcome and included in his wonderful, inclusive globalist world.
Now the Donald wants to hold them as the law requires until they are adjudicated, which means separating the families, as the law is written.
So CNN is again using this as its latest Trump cudgel, demonizing him as a divider of families, a cold brutalizer of children, a bad, bad guy, when all he is doing is enforcing the law that Barack didn’t.
Michelle, in jumping into the media firestorm over this latest demonizing of the Donald – which we are told she is reluctant to do, being a retired first lady – said she was in solidarity with her fellow first ladies Laura Bush and Rosalyn Carter, who were talked by someone into coming out of their retirements to write op-ed pieces for the children.
Laura Bush wrote in a Washington Post Op-Ed piece, paraphrasing Martin Luther King, and sounding a lot like Barack: “We pride ourselves on believing that people should be seen for the content of their character, not the color of their skin. We pride ourselves on acceptance. If we are truly that country, then it is our obligation to reunite these detained children with their parents — and to stop separating parents and children in the first place.”
No matter that the law had not changed, only the president who was now enforcing the law and who neither the Obamas, the Bushes, nor the Obama’s network CNN likes, in fact they hate him.
It was an opportunity for Michelle and Laura to bury political differences and come together in spirit. “Sometimes truth transcends party,” Michelle tweeted.
But we are in the age of Saul Alinsky journalism, and truth is a murky word in a mainstream media that was largely shaped by the Obama’s to report the news in Alinsky fashion – with as much fear, chaos, confusion and demonizing as possible.
This new media, led by CNN, reports accordingly, to demonize Trump and the Republicans – the new conservative establishment – as much as they can. They are the enemy, and must be taken down in Alinsky style.
Not only the media is hysterically screeching the Trump demonizing message, but Barack and Michelle’s good friends in Hollywood, who since they are on television are moral leaders of the Millennials, who grew up on television and think the people on the screen are actually real.
So not only is the Donald torturing children by enforcing the rule of law, but Fox News must be demonized as well Alinsky style because they support Trump.
These great moral mogels have jumped into the frenzy, with Steve Levitan, who we are told is “the Emmy-winning creator” of the ABC comedy Modern Family, so he must know something about keeping families together who said, “I’m disgusted to work at a company that has anything whatsoever to do with Fox News.”
Judd Apatow, another important Hollywood producer, tweeted “the MURDOCH family (which owns Fox) is part of the torturing of children. They own the propaganda machine. Fox stars and show runners should speak up! Journalists and athletes should speak up! Maybe their executive should speak up!”
Maybe if we had all that brainpower from television and sports speaking out that Trump would stop enforcing the law and start releasing the waves of terrified refugees from South and Central America into sanctuary cities, like Barack and Michelle did.
But sorry, Judd and Steve, you might have written and produced award winning shows, but you are boneheads and brainwashed more than anyone at Fox, which is actually one of the few places doing objective journalism.
THE OBAMA’S ARE SOCIALISTS!!!! They’ve created CNN in their image as a socialist propaganda arm, which was ready to carry Hillary and the rest of us on their shoulders to the next stage of their brave, borderless, new world order.
Of course Hillary the loser, who did her senior college thesis on Saul Alinsky, chimed in with her own tweet – “What’s happening to families at the border right now is a humanitarian crisis. Every parent who has ever held a child in their arms, every human being with a sense of compassion and decency, should be outraged.” Call me cynical, but I’m still looking for Hillary’s warm, maternal side.
In all the eight years of the Obama presidency, and still never in the media, are the real tortured children in this country – the young black children of Chicago, Barack’s and Michelle’s home town, a city where in an average year more than 500 mostly black teenagers – children – are shot and killed, another four or five thousand shot and wounded by other black teenagers on the South and West sides of the city, with even higher numbers of rapes and assaults on children, while everyone else walks around in some stage of post-traumatic stress because of all the violence.
Michelle or Barack never tweet about them, because they are already in their socialist fold, dependent on government.
So Millenials, the next time you see a tweet from Michelle or Barack or some rich, narcissistic Hollywood producer about helping out immigrant children and families and then ask you to vote, remember what’s happening to real living, breathing children on Chicago’s streets every day, who never get the attention of CNN.
